Sunset vs day tours: Sunset tours are very popular (amazing views), but often more crowded and booked earlier. If your priority is scenery and romance, a sunset tour is great. Morning/day cruises allow more stops for swimming/snorkeling.

Shared vs private: Shared/semi-private is cheaper, more social. Private gives you flexibility on route, pace, and less crowd, but costs significantly more.

What’s included: Check if meals, drinks, snorkeling gear, pick-up/drop-off from hotel are included. Sometimes “luxury” options include wine, cocktails, better food, etc.

Route & stops: Many of the Catamaran Santorini boat tours include Red Beach, White Beach, Hot Springs, Volcano, sometimes Thirassia. Decide which spots are “must-see” for you. If you want more off-the-beaten-path places, get a private or a tour that advertises flexible routing.

Number of hours: 4-5h gives a taste; full day gives more freedom. If tight schedule, perhaps day half tour + another activity.
